Basics of SOU
Known as the world’s tallest statue, Unity is found on a river island called Sadhu Bet near Rajpipla. It is a statue of Dr. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Iron Man of India), which was opened to celebrate his 143rd birthday.
It added another exciting tourist destination to Gujarat. It is located 200 km from Ahmedabad. A statue of Unity is found near the village of Kevadiya in Gujarat, about 3.5 miles [3.5 km] from the statue. The nearest town to the Statue of Unity is Rajpipla, 15 miles [25 km] away. The easiest way to access the Statue of Unity is from Vadodara, the city has both a railway station and an airport.
There are three kinds of tickets available.
The basic entry ticket for the Statue of Unity costs INR150 for adults and INR90 for kids (between 3 to 15 years) which includes an observation deck view, memorial, museum & audio-visual gallery, and the valley of flowers.
Viewing Gallery: INR230 for children and INR380 for Adult
Express Entry: INR1030 per child/adult
The Statue of Unity is open for its visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm. It is close on Monday, so it is advised to plan your trip to the Statue of Unity accordingly.

Activities to Be Done
The Statue is divided into five sections where only three are accessible to the public. From its base to the level of Patel’s Shins the first three-story space includes the exhibition area, the mezzanine, and the roof. The first location consists of a memorial garden and a museum. The second zone reaches Patel’s lap, and the third reaches the viewing gallery at a height of 153 meters. The fourth area is the place of care while the last area includes the head and shoulders of the statue.
The first-century museum records the life of Sardar Patel and his contributions. The integrated audio and visual gallery offer a 15-minute presentation by Patel and describes the nation’s cultural heritage.

It is a zoo spread out over a wide area. But even though it is just a zoo, it lives in giraffes and zebras that do not live in other Indian zoos. Its Indian flight is amazing. The pet area is directly opposite the Jungle Safari and has many pets such as rabbits, cats, etc. Children and adults alike can have fun by spending some good time petting these animals and getting to know them better.
River Rafting & Glow Garden:
On the banks of the Narmada River, you will find a place at the start of river rafting. end your day with amazing light and sound. The show can be viewed on the SoU complex or helipad. visiting the Glow Garden, you will feel worth your time. This garden is unique. Contains many sculptures or illustrations of animals, birds, plants, and other illuminating objects in various colors. The garden opens at 8 pm, so you will be able to visit it only after the Light and Sound show.
